(Note: This is a private sailing experience. The entire boat will be booked for you for the price mentioned above. You will not be sharing the boat with other people.)

THINGS TO CARRY:

THINGS TO KNOW
- Meeting spot: Jetty No. 5 across the road from the Taj Hotel Main Entrance
- When: It is necessary to arrive at the location 15-30 minutes prior to the activity.
- On the day of the sail: Once your booking is made, you will receive a Whatsapp message/SMS from us a day prior to your sail with the contact details of our representative who will receive you on the day of the event.
- Knowing how to swim is not mandatory.
- Life jackets will be provided.
- Sailing is completely dependent on weather conditions (wind speed, tide, etc.). There might be a wait time of 1 hour or more beyond your booking start time. Your return back to the shore might also get delayed by a few hours if the weather conditions are unfavourable. You must cooperate and patiently wait in such situations which are beyond your control.
- Bookings may be rescheduled or cancelled if the weather is unfavourable for sailing.
- It is mandatory for each person to carry a govt. approved photo ID (original). You may/or may not be asked to show the same to security officials before sailing.
- Avoid eating heavy food 1 hour before the event time.
- Avoid wearing high heels
- Since it is going to be windy, dress accordingly
- Other additions like Balloon Decoration, Fruit Champagne, Bouquet and Cake can be arranged for at an additional cost

*Policies*
Bookings for sailing in Mumbai have strict policies for cancellation and rescheduling.
We request you to carefully read the same.

1. Cancellation by customer:
No refund: Bookings are not cancellable by the customer. No refund will be given for bookings cancelled by the customer.

2. No show: If you or a member of your group does not show up, no refund will be given.
                    No refund will be provided in case of traffic/ late arrival.

3. Showing up late: If you or a member of your group does not show up on time, no refund will be given.

4. Rescheduled by the customer:
No rescheduling allowed: Bookings cannot be rescheduled. You will not be allowed to prepone or postpone your booking. If you do not show up, it will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be given.

5. Cancellation by operator:
Full refund: You will get a full refund or have the option to reschedule the booking if your booking is cancelled by the operator due to unfavorable weather conditions or technical or operational reasons.

6.- As the starting point for sailing is near the Gateway of India, bookings may be cancelled last minute if there are restrictions by government authorities, police, or defense authorities. In this case, you will get an option to either reschedule your booking.

7.- Change/cancellation in timing or weather may happen due to government clearance or bad weather. Book My Sailing will not be liable for the same. In this case, you will get an option to either reschedule your booking or get a 50% refund

I wish to cancel or reschedule my booking due to a medical reason or death of a close ones (family / relative / friend). Will I be allowed to cancel or reschedule?

No. You will not be allowed to cancel or reschedule. No refund will be issued.
99% of the customers who request a cancellation or reschedule cite medical reasons or the death of a close one as a reason for cancellation or reschedule. Unfortunately, It is not possible for us to verify claims of such a sensitive nature and it is not possible to allow a cancellation or reschedule

Do you provide anything to eat on the sailing boat in Mumbai?
No. We do not provide any food items. You can carry some finger food, snacks, soft drinks, etc. on your own to eat on the boat.

Can you make any special arrangements for birthdays/anniversaries on a yacht in Mumbai, Gateway of India?
Yes. We can decorate the boat with balloons at an additional cost (please select the balloon decoration add-on while buying the voucher)
 

Can I carry alcohol, wine, champagne, etc. on a sailing yacht at the Gateway of India?
No. Alcohol, wine, champagne, etc. are strictly not allowed.

How far will we go into the sea from the Gateway of India?
You will go sailing all the way out into the open sea (almost till the tip of South Mumbai). You will not be seen from the shore.

Is parking available near the Gateway of India?
Yes, Pay and Park is available. Neat Jetty No. 5, Opp taj Hotel, Apollo Bunder, Gateway of India

Can Kids Come on Sailing?
Yes, 3 years and above are allowed.

We have different types of yachts with different prices, starting from 3500 to 35000 and so on.
